I started learning web development/deployment in my free time back in september 2024. Though I have already had some courses at university teaching the very basics of Web development some years ago. The first Web Project I worked on was a "Partner Portal" for a local, successful entrepreneur. I started developing it in September 2024 and used Django, which is a high-level Python web framework. I wasn't familiar with Django at all, but I knew the basics of html, css, js and have been using python actively over more than 5 years by now. The Partner Portal finished with its first version in September and got a couple updates the following months. The learning experience with Django was very pleasant and encouraged me to develop another website für a Discord game I started developing in August 2024. Thus, I started working on the websitewww.virtualzombiesurvival.top, which was done in 2 days at the start of November 2024. A couple of months later, in mid-April 2025, I was hooked with the idea of developing my own web-shop. So I started working on that mega project, which you can see here: www.zyllaboost.de . This web-shop is also developed with Django, uses the allauth-plugin for authentication and got a proper setup, self-hosted E-Mail Server, which functions with thunderbird as its E-Mail Client. That's the state of the web-shop in end of June 2025, whilst only working for sporadically and infrequently on that project. The web-shop got all the core functions needed to operate, in the front-end and the back-end, as well as it got a solid design. But - as of now - lacks some extra functions besides a normal web-shop and a very modern design. The web-shop is not yet launched either, as there will be other legal hurdles to manage and I just do not feel ready to properly launch it yet.

This website is currently not well maintained. I got lots of other projects besides my web development ventures to invest time into. I may share them here in the future. But this website is mainly used for private purposes, as I am writing private blog posts for myself to document on some procedures/setups and else. Where I feel like I will most likely redo it in the future, or I have been redoing things in the past and now want these notes for future uses. I have been doing such notes in the form of guids since many years by now for a lot of things. And decided to create my own blog just for myself to put them there with some extra notes. Though I kinda feel like I may keep on working on this website as to be a place for public use. Thus, it may feel like half private use, half public use, as well as half done. It is my place and I decide what I am doing here and how I go about it! :D I love that I have this place here, where can break out of the ordinary process of developing things, that's why I do it here. Because I can not do it in my other projects. So please do not complain about this website or the lack of legal text, which I am totally aware of, if it were a public website for public use. Thanks for noticing it and please do not bother me with that information.
